- Contact potential personal and institutional members providing them with information regarding MDMLG activities.
- Promote and publicize MDMLG meetings and activities and submit information about new and regular members, new jobs, retirements to the MDMLG newsletter and webmaster.
- Staff a hospitability desk at local meetings. Welcome new members and visitors, and inform them of MDMLG activities.
- Promote the Annual MDMLG Scholarship to WSU Library Science students with an interest in health science and support the award selection process.
- Promote MDMLG activities and services to local library science programs, public libraries, health care organizations/associations and professional health organizations.
