CHARGE:
The Compensation & Benefits Committee is charged with performing the following functions:
- The Committee will conduct a biennial Salary and Benefits survey of hospital libraries represented by MDMLG members. Results of the survey will be made available to the MDMLG membership.
- Committee members will monitor the professional library literature for articles on librarian salaries, especially those of health sciences librarians. The Chair will forward these references to the webmaster.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- Analyze the data and compose a report from the completed surveys received from the June 1, 2006 mailing.
- Distribute the results to the members of MDMLG by September 15, 2006 .
- Monitor the professional library literature for articles pertaining to librarian salaries, especially those of health sciences librarians.
- Submit an annual report and update the committee binder.
- Submit appropriate materials to the Archives.
