Purpose
Assess current marketplace salaries and benefits among member hospital/health sciences libraries in Metropolitan Detroit.
Objectives
- Review the 2004 survey and consider revisions recommended by the previous committee chair. If indicated, modify survey tool.
- Distribute the survey to the members of MDMLG by June of 2006, compile data, and report the results of the survey to the membership by the end of the calendar year.
- Monitor professional library literature for articles pertaining to librarian salaries, especially those of health sciences librarians.
- Submit an annual report and update the committee binder.
- Submit appropriate materials to the Archives
