Objectives:
Committee Member: Valerie Reid Accomplishments: Five issues of the MDMLG Newsletter (September 2003, November 2003, February 2004, April 2004 and June 2004) were published on the MDMLG web site in conjunction with the MDMLG Communications Committee (http://www.mdmlg.org/members/news.htm). The Announcements for each of the MDMLG Programs were put on the web site, along with the maps / directions to each location and the Evaluation Forms (http://www.mdmlg.org/meeting.htm). The Power Point Presentation of the speaker from a Brown Bag Luncheon was also included. The Meeting Minutes for both the General Membership Meetings and the Executive Board Meetings were mounted on the Members-Only portion of the web site (http://www.mdmlg.org/members/minutes.htm). In addition, the Treasurer's Reports for this fiscal year were included on the Members-Only portion of the web site (http://www.mdmlg.org/members/treasurer.htm). The MDMLG Directory was updated initially in August with current information obtained from the MDMLG Membership Committee, and subsequently updated as needed (http://www.mdmlg.org/members/directory.htm). In addition, the mailing labels file was updated and uploaded as needed. Many other web pages were added to the MDMLG web site: Announcements for the CE classes sponsored by MDMLG, Biographical Sketches for the 2004-2005 Elections, Salary & Benefits Committee Request for Feedback Form, Committee / Board Member web pages, MDMLG Membership Survey, Executive Board / Committee Chair Goals and Objectives, a Table of Contents for the MDMLG News Archive, an Index to the MDMLG News from 1989 through 2003, and Consumer Health Links (7 web pages). The Job Bank web page was updated as needed. All current MDMLG members were added to the MDMLG-L listserv. The entire MDMLG web site is link-checked and updated on a monthly basis. The MDMLG Username and Password for the Members-Only portion of the web site were changed in the fall after the membership renewals were completed. The entire MDMLG web site was archived on CD ROM and submitted to the MDMLG Archives. This procedure will be continued once a year. Work Yet To Be Accomplished: None.
