Secretary's Annual Report - 2003-2004

 

OBJECTIVES of the OFFICE:

  1. To generate minutes of the six executive board meetings (July, August, October, January, March, and May).
  2. To generate minutes of the five general business meetings (September, November, February, April, and June).
  3. Mail meeting announcements with general business meetings minutes.
  4. Distribute meeting minutes at the appropriate meetings.
  5. Submit minutes to webmaster so that they may be mounted on the MDMLG website.
  6. Update secretary’s manual.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

The secretary generated the meeting minutes and distributed them at the appropriate meetings. General business meeting minutes were mailed with the program announcements at least 3 weeks prior to each program. All meeting minutes have been saved on a disc and mounted on the MDMLG website. An annual expense report was generated. The secretary’s manual has been maintained: copies of all the meeting minutes and reports generated during the secretary’s tenure have been added to the manual and older documents have been submitted to the archivist.
