       OBJECTIVES 
      
      
        - Move the print directory to an electronic format available via the
          MDMLG web page.
 
        - Update the MDMLG Web Page.
 
        - Form Ad-Hoc Bylaws Committee to review current by-laws and make
          recommendations for updating bylaws.
 
        - Review investment options and the financial goals of the
          organization as recommended by the Ad-Hoc Organizational Fund Analysis
          & Review Committee.
 
       
      
      ACCOMPLISHMENTS 
      
      
        - Moved the print directory to an electronic format and made it
          available in 3 sizes/formats.
 
        - Updated and maintained the MDMLG web page and moved the listserve to
          a new host site.
 
        - Reviewed, updated and approved the MDMLG bylaws changes as
          recommended by the Ad-Hoc By-laws Committee.
 
        - Began designing a new MDMLG brochure.
 
        - Reviewed and approved the recommendations for investment options by
          the Ad-Hoc Organizational Fund Analysis & Review Committee.
 
        - Sponsored a team and participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the
          Cure.
 
        - Collaborated with the Wayne State University Shiffman Medical
          Library to sponsor: CAM-ERA - Complimentary and Alternative
          Medicine and the Internet – State of the Art Views on Practice and
          Research. The conference will be held on Friday, October 26, 2001 at
          the Antheneum Suite Hotel. This collaboration resulted in obtaining a
          grant from NLM to sponsor the conference.
