Accomplishments
- Coordinated an application for an award presented by SIRS/Dynix to those individual or institutions promoting compensation or benefit recognition for library workers. Although MDMLG was not chosen for the award, we were complimented on the work and invited to present at a poster session at the American Library Association meeting in Washington , D.C.
- Assisted in providing documentation presented to the American Osteopathic Association's accreditation Board meeting in December in Chicago with regard to their library standards.
- Attended the State conference of the Michigan Association of Law Libraries including seminars focusing on the intersection of Medical and Legal resources.
- Completed recognition certificates for all officers and committee members for year 2006/2007.
- Attended Lynda Baker's health sciences class at Wayne State University for the presentation on clinical librarianship by Rebecca Jerome, Eskind Library, Vanderbilt University . I extended an invitation to the students to attend the next MDMLG meeting at St.Joseph's Pontiac and two students contacted me for information.
Respectfully submitted,
