COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES

1. To nominate candidates for election to the offices of President-Elect, Executive Board, and Nominating Committee.

2. To conduct the 2002-2003 election for said officers and committee members.

3. To publicize the results for the 2002-2003 election.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Nominating Committee presented the following slate for 2002-2003:

President-Elect: Karen Tubolino

Executive Board: Marilyn Kostrzewski

Nominating Committee: Diana Balint
Lynda Baker
Alexia Estabrook
Misa Mi

The slate was presented to the Board on January 14, 2003 and to the general membership via the February 2003 issue of the MDMLG Newsletter. Ballots, cover letters, and biographical sketches were mailed to the general membership on March 24, 2003. The election committee (Gina Hug, Carol Attar, Diane LeBar, and Andrea Rogers) counted the ballots on April 11, 2003. Sixty-four of the 93 ballots mailed were returned.

The successful candidates were:
