COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES
  1. To nominate candidates for election to the offices of President-Elect, Executive Board and Nominating Committee of the Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group.
  2. To conduct the 1999-2000 election for said officers and committee members.

  3. To publicize the results of the 1999-2000 election.

The Nominating Committee presented the following slate for 1999-2000.

The slate was presented to the Executive Board on January 25, 2000 and to the general membership on February 17, 2000. Ballots, cover letters and biographical sketches were mailed to the general membership on March 17, 2000. The Election Committee (Gayle Williams, Daria Drobny and Sylvia Graham, MDMLG Secretary) counted the ballots on April 7, 2000. Sixty-two ballots were returned of the 99 mailed. Three of the returned ballots were received after the deadline date and were entirely invalid. Three ballots were partially invalidated since more than the allowed number of names was checked in a section. Only that section of the ballot was invalid.
