ANNUAL REPORT

CHARGE

  1. Produce and distribute the MDMLG directory
  2. Maintain the records of the membership, including updating records and producing labels.
  3. Coordinate the annual renewal of the membership.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Continuously update directory entries.
  2. Publish the annual MDMLG directory and membership list in time for the first General Business meeting of the fiscal year.
  3. Collect fiscal year dues.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  1. Mailing label requests were fulfilled in a timely manner.
  2. The records of the membership are being maintained as a Microsoft Access file and are updated as needed.
  3. The annual membership renewal was initiated.
  4. The MDMLG membership approved the motion to publish the MDMLG directory in Adobe Acrobat. The Adobe Acrobat version MDMLG directory will be made available on the MDMLG web site. This will result in significant savings for the organization.

IN PROGRESS

  1. Membership renewals are still being returned. A reminder and deadline for returning renewals will be posted to the MDMLG listserv after the Summer Luncheon.
  2. A copy of Adobe Acrobat is to be purchased.
  3. Membership directory is to be published. Plans are to begin working with Valerie Reid on publishing the directory after the Summer Luncheon.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. It was recommended by the President that the membership receive reminder notices twice a year to update their membership information. This procedure will be incorporated into the objectives for next year.
